IMPORTANT

By default your SILVER LUMITEM action camera comes deactivated form our factory, you must:

1-conect your camera by using either the USB cable or the wall charger of your computer

2- leave it charging for 5 minutes until the screen of your camera turn on

3- disconect and remove the battery and place it again

4- connect your camera again and now leave it charging for 30 minutes to fully charge the battery




REMOVE THE CASE TO GET STARTED

By default the camera comes inside a waterproof case. In order to charge it and to configure it you must remove it.

We strongly recommend you to completely charge the Lumitem camera before start using it. With this, its battery life will last longer. Use the USB cable to charge it from the dock of your computer or from the camera charger. When the led B is on purple (see basics picture) it means that the camera has not fully charged yet. On the contrary, once the led B turns into blue it indicates that now the camera has totally charged.

Once the battery is entirely charged place the memory MicroSD in the camera.p>

Turn on your camera by pressing and holding the “mode” button located at the front of the camera for 3 seconds. To turn it off press and hold the “mode” button for 4 seconds.

TAKING VIDEO AND PHOTO

Once the camera is “ON” it will enter automatically in video mode. In this mode you can see a yellow sphere lit on the top left corner. Once there, you just need to press the “ok” button to start recording videos. If you want to stop press the “ok” button again.

To change to photo mode press the “mode” button located at the front of the camera. At this point, press the “ok” button to take a picture.
If you want to look at the pictures you have taken, press the “mode” button again to switch to gallery photo mode. You will note that when you are in this mode the camera will display a photograph already taken. To enter and watch your full collection, press the “ok” button. From here you can select them with the “up” and “down” buttons next to the camera.

Standar Photo Mode

To take photos on Standard Mode. Turn on your camera by pressing and holding the “mode” button located at the front of the camera for 3 seconds.
In standard Photo Mode you can take pictures by pressing OK button. In this mode you press OK and the camera will take a photo.

The icon located at the left top corner on the screen indicates the Mode Standard pictures.

Photo Galery

Once you are in Standard Photo mode press the “mode” button and the camera will display your photo gallery.
In Photo gallery are the photos you have taken. You can use the “up” and “down” buttons to navigate it and see those pictures or videos.

Capture Photo Mode

In Capture photo mode you can set your Lumitem camera to take pictures automatically on certain periods of time.
This will allow you to take pictures in a confortable way without being worried about pressing any button. This mode works great for those activities that require all of your attention or if you are your own photographer on any moment. Lumitem camera has 5 different modes of taking photos. Each one has different time shooting amounts so you can choose which one fits better for your interests.
To switch to capture photo mode you must go to “Setup” on your camera. To do this press the “mode” button as many times as necessary until you see the “Setup” menu. Once there you can use the “up” and “down” buttons located at the right side of your camera to navigate the menu. Press down the keys until you see capture mode. Once in capture mode press the “ok” button. This action will open a submenu and will display some options. From here you can use the “up” and “down” keys to navigate. To select one of those modes press the “ok” button again. Now as soon as you start taking pictures the camera will begin to take one picture every certain period of time depending on which mode you have chosen. To stop taking photos press the “ok” button again and it will stop.

Burst Photo Mode

On burst photo mode your camera will take an amount of pictures in one second. This mode is great for high-speed activities. To change the capture photo mode go to “Setup” on your camera. To do this press the “mode” button as many times as necessary until you see the “Setup” menu. Once there you can use the “up” and “down” keys located at the right side of your camera to navigate the menu. Press down the keys until you see “Burst”. Once on Burst press the “ok” button. This will open a submenu and will display the options for Burst mode. Once again you can use the “up” and “down” keys to navigate and to select one of those modes just press “ok” button again. Now as soon as you start taking pictures the camera will shoot as many photos as you selected per one second..

Standar Video Mode

Once the camera is “ON” it will enter automatically in standard video mode. This will allow you to record videos by pressing and holding the OK button. To stop recording, press and hold the OK button.
The yellow sphere at the top left corner on the screen indicates that your camera is not recording. The numbers next to the sphere indicates the time you have available on your memory to record a video (hours, minutes and seconds). Once you press OK button and start recording, you will see the yellow sphere turns to "red" which means your camera is now recording.

Loop Recording Mode

Loop recording mode allows you to record different videos. This is great to manipulate after your memory and delete those moment that are not necessary keeping instead those that you want to save.
Loop recording mode has 5 different options, 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, 5 minutes and 10 minutes. The different options represent the duration of each loop. To change to Loop recording mode you can go to Setup on your camera, to do this press MODE button as many times as necessary until you see the SetUp menu, once here you can use the up and down keys located at the right side of your camera to navigates the menu, press down key until you see Loop Record, here press OK button and this will open a submenu and display the different options for Loop record, once again you can use the up and down keys to navigate and for selecting one of those modes just press OK button again.
Now as soon as you start recording the camera will record in loop mode as you selected.

Frequency , Resolution and Video Formats

Your camera can record videos at different resolutions and frequencies. The resolution of the video by default is the higher 1080-FHD that is 1920 x 1080 pixels. On “Setup” menu you will see the option “resolution”. This allows you to choose” the best one according to your needs.
In the “Setup” menu you will see an option called “frequency”. This is the meaning of frames per second on recording videos. The options of 60 Hz will provide you of a much better motion quality on your videos, but it also will take more space of your memory and can only be displayed on screens that are able to reproduce videos in 60 Hz.

The Lumitem camera can be connected to smartphones or tablets by WIFI. This allows you to both control the camera with your phone and to have access to its media gallery and download any picture or video in real time. Download the free app from your android or IOS appStore:

GoPlusCam

Once you have downloaded the application turn on your camera. While the camera is in video or photo mode press the “up” Button. You will note that the led on the top of your camera start to twinkles with an orange color. This means that the camera will display on the screen the name of the WIFI network and the passcode that you must enter.

Go to WIFI settings in your phone, choose the WIFI network that your camera provides and introduce the passcode that the camera showed you before. Make sure your phone executes well the connection to the WIFI network.

Open the goPlusCam app that you downloaded previously and select “connect”. Now you camera should be successfully connected to your device and you should be able to control it from there or access to the gallery.
